Graduated from the Cité High School in Lausanne in 1979. Master's degree in physics from the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne in 1984

CAREER

1984 - started his career at Kudelski S.A. as a research and development engineer.

After working in Silicon Valley, he returned to Kudelski S.A. in 1986 and was appointed product manager for Pay-TV products.

1989 to 1990 - with the development of this field of activity, he became the director of the Pay-TV division, then called NagraVision.

1991 - took over the position of Chairman and CEO of the Kudelski group.

1992 - became Chairman and CEO of Nagra Plus S.A., a joint-venture of Kudelski S.A. and Canal Plus.

HONORS

In 1995, André Kudelski was nominated by the World Economic Forum as a "Global Leader for Tomorrow".

In 1996, he received an Emmy® award in New York from the National Academy of Arts and Sciences for his company's achievements in the area of Pay-TV conditional access and scrambling systems.
