Aero was originally going to be called Airways to reflect the vogue for jet travel in the 1930s when it was launched. By 1936, Aero had reached New York. The brand's success comes from its unique bubbly texture. From the first television advertising campaigns screened during the 1950s, the secret bubbly formula has proved the lynchpin for many advertising campaigns. Over the years the popularity of the brand quickly spread across the globe and today Aero is available in many countries including Canada, Australia, South Africa and Japan.
