Nominations for the Nestlé Prize in Creating Shared Value closed, 6 November 2009
Nominations for the 2010 Nestlé Prize in Creating Shared Value have closed on October 31, 2009 with over 400 applications submitted. The Nestlé Prize Screening Committee will select a list of finalists from the pool of entries and the Advisory Board on Creating Shared Value will then choose a winner based on the selection criteria. The winner will be announced in London at the Annual Forum on Creating Shared Value in May 2010. More information available in the CSV Prize page.
Nestlé launches the Cocoa Plan, 22 October 2009
Nestlé announced the launch of The Cocoa Plan, a new consumer-facing initiative which brings together Nestlé’s activity to promote sustainable cocoa supply under one banner. Nestlé presence at the International Congress on Nutrition, 4-9 October 2009
Nestlé had a major presence at this year's International Congress on Nutrition, which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, from 4 to 9 October 2009.
There were two satellite symposia, featuring world-renowned nutrition science and public health experts, on Monday 5th and Wednesday 7th October. Each symposium is available as video webcast
