Below is a list of the Nestlé Research facilities in North and South America. To view worldwide locations visit our page on Global R&D. For further information about our activities at any of the locations below please contact us.

  • Product Technology Centres (PTCs), each aligned with particular Nestlé businesses to provide expertise for specific product categories. Together they form a hub for global product and process development.
  • Research and Development Centres (R&D), working in close collaboration with the Product Technology Centres to meet regional R&D requirements and provide input to local application groups.
    These are highlighted below in orange.


Fremont
PTC Fremont, United States
Opened in 1964
Focus: Delivering healthy feeding solutions for infant and toddlers through science-based products. Nutrition education, promoting healthy eating habits to ensure infants and toddlers maintain optimal health.

Marysville
PTC Marysville, United States
Opened in 1948
Focus: Marysville is Nestlé’s Product Technology Centre for ready-to-drink beverage development. It also has major programmes in coffee, instant beverages, ice cream coatings, confectionery, non-dairy creamers and milk modifiers.

Minneapolis
R&D Minneapolis, United States
Opened in 1974
Focus: Innovating superior nutrition solutions recognised to serve the needs of patients and care-givers.

Solon
R&D Solon, United States
Opened in 2001
Focus: Solon is a centre of excellence for frozen and chilled culinary products and convenience baking.

St Joseph
PTC St. Joseph, United States
Opened in 1926
Focus: PTC St Joseph is one of Nestlé’s two centres of excellence for Petcare.

St Louis
PTC St. Louis, United States
Opened in 1990
Focus: PTC St Louis is one of Nestlé’s two centres of excellence for PetCare.
