Really my son
From her tummy to my Heart

My dearest and most precious son,  as I watched you peacefully sleeping in my arms, I can't help but think of that time when I first carried you , when your mama turned you over to me at the airport . I felt very happy , specially when you smiled at me , as if you knew already that from the moment , I will be your new mommy. From that moment dear Son, you became my own. Now, you have grown quite tall at 7 , very sweet and so full of life. You have become my source of joy, my inspiration, I have loved so you so much that sometimes, I seemed to forget that I was not the one who brought you to this world. There was once when you asked me innocently if you came from my tummy like your other friends, I was startled. How could a 7 year old asked something like that ? You were so innocent and so very young. And then I told you, no, I didn't carry you inside my tummy. God did not allow me to do so because I might not be able to make it , but then God found another way to give you to me. That is through your mama. She carried you for nine months like other babies, and then God transferred you to my heart, because I loved you so much . I don't know if you had the slightest idea of what that means, but I can never forget the look on your face when you heard that. Your face lit up, and then you hugged me. Amidst the tears that threatened to fall from my eyes, I heard you saying, " How did I fit in your heart? Was it painful when God opened your heart?"  I found myself saying... No... it was not painful at all my Son. In fact, it was the most joyous time in my life.

I love him so much .
