I have several fond memories. I was riding in the car with my 10 year old nephew, Matthew, last year and we were chatting. I asked him what some of his favorite foods were...he quickly replied "Aunt Cathy's Chocolate Chip Cookies". That really made me feel good. He tells all of his friends that when his Aunt Cathy comes to town she will make her famous chocolate chip cookies.

I went for a visit last weekend, of course I mixed up my cookie dough before I went so all I had to do is pop them in the oven. He informed me that his mother, my sister, looked for my cookie recipe in the family cookbook but couldn't find it. He told me I forgot to submit my recipe. I told him to get out the bag of Nestle's Chocolate Chips and he would find my recipe. The only difference is that I use the old variation that Nestle used to have on the bag when I was little, a teaspoon of water.
