I'm a grandfather of 7... they call me "the Papa". I'm not a great cook, but I don't go hungry. My wife has teased me for 31 years that I only married her because my mother-in-law, "Mama Loriece", was such a great cook, having worked as the "dessert queen" of an Amarillo, Texas school for many years. Last night, I made her own special recipe for from scratch chocolate cake w/chocolate frosting, using Nestlé Cocoa... Uhmmm!  In my own family's spartan kitchen growing up in New Mexico, there was always a can of pure cocoa which we weren't allowed to touch... that made me real curious. When my own mama,  Agneda (a long time cook at the local bus depot) was at work, my 8 year old fingers opened the lid and the delicious aroma tickled my nose. Temptation gave in to a hefty mouthful. Expectation didn't fulfill what registered on taste-buds and I couldn't spit it out fast enough. Time, wisdom & Mama Loriece's own personal cooking recipes helped me to appreciate the fine art of cooking with pure cocoa.
