Mum's black bun

When we were young - I'm going back some time - every Christmas my Mother made what we call in Scotland a Black Bun. It was delicious and hard work to make as there were no electric mixers in those days. My Dad had to help my Mother to mix all the ingredients. I've never tasted anything like it. Shop ones just dont taste the same.
