Ingredients

  • 2 large Eggs 
  • 1/2 cup / 65 g All purpose flour (or plain flour)
  • 1/2 cup / 100 g Sugar 
  • 1/2 cup / 100 g Brown sugar (packed)
  • 3/4 cup / 150 g Butter (softened)
  • 1 cup / 150 g NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi sweet chocolate morsels (* See cooks note)
  • 1 cup / 100 g Walnut (chopped)
  • 1 Unbaked deep-dish pie crust (9-inch/23cm) (completely thawed if frozen)
  • Whipped cream or ice cream to serve (optional) 

Preparation steps

  • COOKS NOTE: If Nestlé Toll House Semi sweet morsels are not available in your area you can use a dark/plain Nestlé Chocolate to replace them. Select a Nestlé chocolate with 45-55% cocoa solids. Chop the chocolate into small pieces before using in the recipe
  • Pre-heat the oven to 325°F/170°C.
  • Beat the eggs in a large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour and sugars and then beat in the softened butter.
  • Stir in the Nestlé Toll House morsels or chopped Nestlé chocolate and chopped nuts. Spoon the filling into pie crust or shell.
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between the edge and the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.

Excellent  
I was given a piece of this pie for Christmas about 15 years ago. My coworker gave me the recipe I have been using this recipe every since. I bake them for Christmas, I have requests for them. I love the pie and all my family members and friend love it also .
