  • 2 cups / 300 g NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi sweet chocolate morsels (*see cooks note)
  • 1/2 cup / 100 g Butter (or margerine)
  • 3 large / 3 large Eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups / 160 g All purpose flour (or plain flour)
  • 1 cup / 200 g Granulated sugar
  • tsp / 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp / 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 cup / 50 g Walnuts (chopped)

Preparation steps

  • COOKS NOTE: If Nestlé Toll House Semi sweet morsels are not available in your area you can use a dark/plain Nestlé Chocolate to replace them. Select a Nestlé chocolate with 45-55% cocoa solids. Chop the chocolate into small pieces before using in the recipe
  • Pre-heat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Grease a 13 x 9 inch/33 x 22 cm baking pan.
  • Divide the NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE morsels into two. Place half the morsels and butter in a large, heavy duty saucepan over a low heat. Stir until smooth. Remove from the heat.
  • Stir in eggs. Then stir in flour, sugar, vanilla extract and baking soda. Stir in remaining morsels and nuts. Spread into prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 18 - 22 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Cut into 24 pieces.

The Best Ever
I have made these browniees for years. I did not leave chocolate chips in the batter, I melted all the chips (2cups) and baked them as usuall. We the husband, kids and myself loved them. I would recommed them to everyone.
