Nestlé Purina Petcare, Spain
The Castellbisbal factory in Spain achieved 600 days without lost time injuries in September 2007. Nestlé Purina Petcare Spain employees and management celebrated this achievement as part of the general workplace safety improvement in all the factories of the region.
Nestlé India
The Nestlé Samalkha factory has been working without reportable accidents since 2001. In 2005, the Indian authorities awarded to Samalkha the “National Safety Award”, to recognize its outstanding performance.
Nestlé Indonesia
Nestlé Indonesia was named Indonesia's Most Caring Company 2005 in the category of Consumer Goods and won the Safety Award jointly sponsored by the main Indonesian business magazine, Warta Ekonomi and DuPont. The jury was particularly impressed by the very good hygiene, the 5S program and good housekeeping in our Indonesian factories. Another major factor was strong and visible leadership by top management. Technical Manager Campo van Beek regularly participates in inspections together with factory teams. Another highlight was achieved by Kejayan factory having worked one million man-hours without a single lost time injury.
