In every corner of our business, great talent is helping us add lasting value to consumers, communities and colleagues. Our teams in Finance and Control, Human Resources, Information Systems/Information Technology and Supply Chain are enhancing lives in real, tangible ways every day. As you’d imagine, these areas are great places to develop technical and management skills, learn the basic of our business and begin to build a graduate career that will be constantly challenging, frequently unpredictable and never dull.
Finance and Control
Keeping on top of the figures keeps us on top of the competition. Join our Finance and Control team and you’ll help give us an edge by accurate monitoring and reporting, and partnering business units and functions in strategic analysis. With a wide range of responsibilities spanning costing, accounting, budgeting and tax, we should have an opportunity for you whatever your finance background. The proviso is that you question accepted practices and are open to change and improvement.
Human Resources (HR)
As the function attracting, developing and engaging more of the amazing talent that we need to grow our business, HR offers opportunities in three key areas. You could build a career in HR business partnership helping line managers improve commercial performance through people. Or perhaps your passion lies in a specialist area of HR, such as recruitment or training and development. Finally, you could join our Centre of Scale, the group that ensures our employees have their essential needs taken care of so they can focus on what they do best.
Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT)
As part of our IS/IT team, you’ll unleash technology’s potential by unlocking your own. One of the key channels you’ll have for doing this will be our GLOBE team. GLOBE is a major worldwide business and IS initiative that is creating common best practices and infrastructures. As a part of GLOBE, you’ll join a project team working to implement Best Business Practices and Processes through systems and technology. Be prepared for plenty of challenge and work alongside colleagues from diverse backgrounds with the scope to make your ideas felt.
Our supply chain function is re-inventing itself. We’re becoming a true growth partner, making sure that everyone with customer contact is on board with our changes, partnering with Sales and strengthening our commitment to excellence. All these changes mean we’re looking for a new breed of supply chain professional. As such, you could join us in any one of a number of roles – customer service specialist, demand planner or supply chain planner. The key point is that you can bring us closer to our customers by making sure our products are there at the right time in the right condition.
