Nestlé Australia halves Killer Python sweet to reduce calories

Nestlé’s Killer Python sweet in its new treat-size portion

Nestlé Australia’s Allen’s brand has halved the size of a popular Australian children’s sweet – the snake-shaped Killer Python - to reduce the sugar and calorie intake of the treat.

The new Killer Python now weighs 24g, providing 336kJ per portion, compared to the 630kJ of the original 47g size.

The move is part of Nestlé’s efforts to help people control the amount of food and calories that they consume.
