Nestlé Professional has signed a global partnership with the World Association of Chefs' Societies (Worldchefs).
The partnership will focus on educating young chefs around the world on nutrition and equipping them with additional culinary skills and industry knowledge they need to excel in their profession.
The announcement extends Nestlé’s work in promoting healthier lifestyles.
Nestlé Professional will be the official education partner on all subjects related to nutrition, health and wellness. It will also use key events such as International Chefs Day to educate children on basic nutrition via the Nestlé Healthy Kids Programme.
Through joint workshops, international competitions and dynamic exchange platforms, the partnership aims to inspire and motivate young chefs and increase their interaction with international peers and key opinion leaders.
The lack of skilled and motivated chefs is one of the biggest challenges the hospitality industry is facing today.
Worldchefs has over 10 million members worldwide and considers the growth and development of young chefs key to securing the future of the industry.
