Nestlé Nutrition boosts infant formula production in Mexico

Nestlé will triple its production of infant formula with the opening of its new factory in Jalisco, Mexico.

At a total cost of CHF 245 million, Nestlé Nantli becomes Nestlé’s biggest investment in infant nutrition worldwide in the last 10 years.

The plant in Ocotlán will create 250 direct and 1,250 indirect jobs, as part of a commitment to invest over CHF 1 billion in Mexico.

Production is driven by the latest environmental technology including 100% waste water treatment and renewable energy from wind generation and solar power.
