Successful Purina pet care initiative evolves digitally

Nestlé Purina PetCare has launched a new digitially oriented edition of its successful 'A Scuola di PetCare’ (‘At School with PetCare’) educational campaign in Italian primary schools.

The nationwide campaign, now in its 11th year, helps children learn the basics of pet care and nutrition, through an educational kit distributed to teachers that includes contributions from vets and other experts. Teachers, parents and kids can also access the material online – the 2015 edition includes a new interactive online educational game.

Nestlé Purina PetCare promotes 'A Scuola di PetCare' with three national veterinary organisations. Since 2004, the campaign has reached with over 500,000 primary school pupils and 50,000 teachers, and has been successfully adopted by other markets in Europe.
