I help build Nestlé brands. My team’s main role is to accelerate the digital path within the organization. The team acts as in-house consultants for brands’ digital strategies, and my focus is on creative and content. That means I’m usually in meetings with brand managers and business managers, or even with partners like Google, Facebook and Twitter. We leverage our partnerships to develop digital capabilities among brand managers’.
I love how we’re willing to test and learn. The digital landscape is constantly changing, and we are changing with it. Making a 150 year-old company agile isn’t without its hurdles, yet we’re getting there – together.
I’ve come a long way from answering consumer emails. That was my first role with Nestlé in the Philippines. When my manager saw my writing potential she started to give me more writing projects. I learned a lot from her and eventually joined Corporate Communications. I was responsible for the internal magazine and the external public relations. Afterwards I moved to the Digital Acceleration Team.
Nestlé was a big part of my life even before I joined. We were consumers of Nestlé products, and never in my wildest dreams did I think that one day I’d help build this brand that people know, love, and above all, trust.
They say that co-workers can make or break a company for you. I’m fortunate in that my colleagues are dynamic, knowledgeable and collaborative. It’s always enlightening to learn from other people’s perspectives.
I’m proud to work for Nestlé. It values people, communities, and the environment. Our input informs how benefits and careers are developed, and it invests in the long term, not just short-term.
Nestlé is a company that is rooted in respect. So if you want to work for a company that respects people, communities and the environment, then it’s the perfect choice.
