Geraldine Müller Maras, director of Nestlé’s Atelier du Chocolat Maison Cailler, will represent Switzerland at the Chocolate World Cup in Paris in October later this year.
Maras was declared on Sunday the ‘Confectioner of the Year’ at the Swiss Chocolate Masters Championship, a high-profile competition for chocolate-making professionals, in Berne.
The winner of the Swiss competition traditionally represents the country at international chocolatier events.
The Swiss Chocolate Masters Championship is an annual event that tests confectionery professionals for their creative and technical skills.
