NIHS study into children’s micronutrient supplementation brings us closer to personalised nutrition

A unique nutritional study was conducted in children (aged 9 to 13) by the Nestlé Institute of Health Sciences with the University of Sao Paulo Ribeirao Preto in Brazil using Nestrovit, a Nestlé multivitamin/mineral supplement.

The study, published on Molecular Nutrition and Food Research showed that the multiple micronutrient intervention improved the metabolic health of the children. This brings us a step closer to developing recommendations for optimising vitamin levels and health parameters for individuals and personalised nutrition.
