Statement from Nestlé Colombia November 10, 2013:
We were very concerned to hear that on Saturday 9 November a Nestlé employee Óscar López Triviño was murdered in Bugalagrande town in Colombia. The circumstances are under investigation by the authorities. We would like to express our deepest condolences to his wife, family, friends and to his union, Sinaltrainal.
We condemn this act of violence and we hope the authorities will investigate thoroughly, identify and arrest whoever is responsible for this crime that has plunged the Nestlé Colombia family into mourning.
