How do we support our home community in Switzerland?

Vibiscum stage

With a heritage of more than 155 years, Nestlé has strong roots in Switzerland. Nestlé supports more than 100 projects every year across Canton de Vaud with a special emphasis on projects where Nestlé was founded – the "Riviera Region".

By continuing to establish strong partnerships we aim to be a trusted partner for the community, accompanying associations and institutions to create shared value across food access and projects which contribute to a thriving community life across culture and sport.

L’Etape I Partage Riviera

Nestlé is pleased to support Partage Riviera through food and financial donations, employee volunteering and, since March 2023 provides well-suited premises free of charge for the distribution and storage of food, thus enabling efficient organization without queues, and the sustainability of the various activities in an environment that promotes the values of sharing and mutual aid.

Partage Riviera, a non-denominational charity with around one hundred volunteers, is the result of the merger of two associations, L'Etape in Vevey and Le Coup De Pouce in Clarens. For over 25 years, they have been organizing soup kitchens and distributing unsold perishable food to the low-income people free of charge. Every week, Partage Riviera helps 500 families. A total of 7-8 tons of food are distributed fairly during the five weekly distributions held at various locations on the Riviera. Partage Riviera recycles around 360 tons of food every year, effectively combating food waste.
