* Whole grain is the number one ingredient in 90% of all our breakfast cereals, and this number rises to 99% our for children and teenagers breakfast cereals (2024).
A nutritious start to any day
As part of our purpose to make breakfast better, our teams have been working for more than two decades on improving our recipes: increasing the amounts of whole grain and fiber, reducing the amount of sugar and salt and removing artificial colors and flavors from our recipes. All while keeping the same great taste!
At Nestlé Breakfast Cereals, we care for our grains, that’s why we were the first major global cereal company to commit to making whole grain a main ingredient in our cereals. So, whenever you see the distinctive Nestlé green banner with the whole grain tick on our packs, you can be sure it contains at least 8 grams of whole grain per 30g serving
A journey to a sustainable business
We want to make breakfast better while creating a positive impact on the world around us. This means innovating and improving everything we do - from how we source ingredients, to how we make our products, to the way we work.
We believe we have a responsibility towards the people who buy and eat our products, the communities in which we live and work, and the planet. We want to nurture and look after all four and our 2050 Net-Zero Roadmap is an important part of that commitment.
Our approach to reaching net zero spans five key areas: sourcing ingredients, transforming the product portfolio, evolving packaging, moving toward cleaner operations, and driving towards cleaner logistics.
