Nestlé has been consistently listed in the FTSE4Good Index since 2011 and was the first breast-milk substitute company to be included. We have maintained a strong standing in the index, with an overall 2022 environmental, social and governance (ESG) rating of 4.5 out of 5.

Access to Nutrition Index (ATNI)

Nestlé was ranked 1st out of 25 global food and beverage manufacturers in the 2021 Access to Nutrition Index (ATNI) and the 2018 Access to Nutrition Index (ATNI). The goal of the Index is to facilitate improved diets and a reduction in the global problems of both obesity and under-nutrition.

In 2022, Nestlé was rated AA by the MSCI ESG Research for its performance on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.
