Understanding where our ingredients come from and how they are produced

Carefully monitoring our supply chains is essential to determine whether ingredients have been produced sustainably. Without traceability, we cannot assess conditions or support our suppliers – large and small – to improve.
Agricultural practices, the impact on critical forests and natural ecosystems, and the extent to which human rights and animal welfare practices are respected in farming communities are all critical factors in determining sustainability. Our aim is for 100% of our key ingredients to be produced sustainably by 2030.
Our approach to sustainable sourcing
Our Sustainable Sourcing team ensures that the raw and packaging materials and the services we source have been produced in accordance with our Responsible Sourcing Standard. Our initiatives aim to protect and promote human rights and animal welfare, while protecting and restoring forests and natural ecosystems critical to the sourcing of our ingredients.
