For more than a century, Thomy has been invited to our table, making good food taste great and adding more joy to meals. First with classic mustard and mayonnaise, now with a whole range of flavors.
Thomy was born in Switzerland, and the products are now bought every second in the country - where they have become a kitchen staple for many families. Thomy is also enjoyed in Germany, Switzerland, the Adriatic region, and Austria.
Our range includes iconic Thomy mayonnaise and mustard, as well as curry sauces and salad dressings. Spicy, sweet, or just a dollop of depth - Thomy adds the finishing touches to everything from grandma's potato salad to a juicy burger or a fresh salad. There really is a sauce for everyone's tastes.
Delivering quality and sustainability
At Thomy we do everything we can to minimize waste and lower our carbon footprint, which is why many of our bottles are made of 30% recycled PET. Thomy is also part of Nestlé's global ambition to make its packaging reusable or recyclable by 2025.
Quality ingredients are important too. Wherever possible we use organically certified ingredients, including free-range eggs - providing you with the freshest condiments, while looking out for the planet.

The Thomy story
1907
Table mustard is born
The first industrially produced Langenthaler mustard was launched by Fritz Thomy Schaad.
1913
Thomy factory opens
The first Thomy plants in Karlsruhe and Neuss were opened. Millions of jars and tubes of Thomy delicatessen products were produced there every day.
1930
Thomy tubes
The Thomy brand came to life and, for the first time in history, Langenthaler Senf was sold as Thomy Senf in innovative aluminum tubes.
1954
Hello mayonnaise
We launched tubes of Thomy delicatessen mayonnaise, which has been one of the most popular sauces in Germany ever since.
1960
More deliciousness
The Thomy range expanded to included remoulade, sandwich cream, and sunflower oil.
1971
Thomy joins Nestlé
Ursina Franck AG merged with the Nestlé Group. Since then, Thomy has belonged to the Nestlé family, the largest food company in the world.
1987
The original Hollandaise sauce
The star of the Thomy sauces was introduced. Les Sauces Hollandaise is a classic today, most often enjoyed with asparagus dishes.
1990
Here comes enjoyment
The jingle 'Thomy - here comes enjoyment' is known from the lighthouse commercial of the 90s, which delighted everyone with its glowing chef's hats and captivating music.
2008
A new Thomy
The Thomy name and logo have changed over the years, with its most notable update in 2008.
2014
Marking 60 years of Thomy
60 years after Thomy being introduced in Germany, we celebrated with a modernized packaging design.
2019
A new kind of mayo
We launched Thomy mayo with healthy oils such as hemp and avocado - the perfect way to add a fresh twist of flavor.
2020
BBQ sauce, only better
We introduced our premium BBQ sauces and their broad spectrum of flavor - from jalapenos to brandy.
2021
Go natural
The new range of Thomy salad dressings are made from the finest natural ingredients, such as fig seeds, sea salt, and olive oil.
