With over 20 years in Nestlé, Anna Lenz has gained experience across a variety of geographies, businesses and functions in the Group.
Anna has an unconventional track record. She transitioned from studying modern and ancient languages in high school to earning a degree in Mathematics. She then gained experience working in Finance and General Management before being appointed as EVP, Global Head of Human Resources in January 2025.
Anna’s passion for reinvention as well as her positive and pragmatic leadership style encourages collaboration, simplification, and along her career has empowered her teams to achieve outstanding results. In her role, she is focused on nurturing talent to drive business growth.
She joined Nestlé in 2004, in the Audit Division at the headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland. After different roles in Finance and Generating Demand and a successful turnaround of Nestlé Nespresso Portugal, she was invited in 2020 to join the global management of Nestlé Nespresso as Chief Executive Officer for Europe, which she firmly steered through the pandemic turmoil. In 2022 she became CEO for Nestlé Portugal, returning it to winning market shares.
Born and raised in Switzerland, Anna holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from ETH Zürich, Switzerland, and an Executive MBA from London Business School, UK.
