  • The Council supports on topics such as balanced diets, regenerative agriculture, climate action and livelihoods.
  • The new Council chair, Rob Cameron, will lead the group of 10 external members.

The Nestlé Creating Shared Value (CSV) Council, an external advisory group to Nestlé’s Executive Board, has appointed Council member Rob Cameron as its new chair. He succeeds Janet Voûte, who has chaired the Council for more than 10 years.

Through its Creating Shared Value approach, Nestlé links societal progress with business growth. Creating value for communities as well as for shareholders strengthens Nestlé’s brands, aligning long-term business success with meaningful impact for people, communities and the planet.

The CSV Council supports this work by advising the Executive Board, on topics such as balanced diets, regenerative agriculture, climate action and livelihoods. The Council’s 10 external members bring expertise in strategy, sustainability, nutrition, water, biodiversity, food systems and rural development.

Philipp Navratil, CEO of  Nestlé, said: “The CSV Council provides us with invaluable insights, guidance and recommendations, as we work to create value for all Nestlé stakeholders. I would like to thank Janet for her leadership over more than a decade and for helping us embed CSV across Nestlé. I am confident that Rob will build on this work, as we advance our ambitions on nutrition, regenerative agriculture and climate action.”

As part of its CSV approach, Nestlé aims to cut its greenhouse gas emissions by 50% and source 50% of its key ingredient volumes from farmers adopting regenerative agriculture practices, both by 2030. The company is also continuing its work to reduce and improve its packaging and support the shift to circular systems. As a food and beverage producer, Nestlé aims to help make tasty and balanced diets more accessible by continuously improving its portfolio over time and by growing its affordable nutrition portfolio with more micronutrient-fortified foods and beverages.
