Text

The Text component is a flexible content block used to display textual information on a page. It supports rich formatting via a WYSIWYG editor, optional titles and Call to Action (CTA) button.

Use the Text component when you need to:

  • Add formatted text with headings, paragraphs, or inline images.
  • Include a title or supporting message above the section.

It's ideal for storytelling, announcements, or highlighting key messages.
 

How to use

Main considerations when using this component:

  • Mostly, the Text component is used as part of a layout. While generally it works across all layouts, the most common is Layout_66_33.
  • Use clear and concise titles and subtitles to guide the reader.
  • Ensure the body content is well-formatted using the WYSIWYG editor (headings, lists, links, images).
  • Avoid overly long blocks of text - break content into readable sections.
  • Choose appropriate text alignment (left, right, center) based on layout and design needs.
  • Ensure contrast between text and background for accessibility.
  • Include a CTA only when it serves a clear purpose (e.g., Read more, Contact us).
  • Make sure the CTA is visually distinct and placed logically below the body content.
  • Link the CTA to relevant pages or actions.
  • Ensure all text is readable on all devices and screen sizes.
     

Additional considerations

  • Recommended title length: 20 - 50 characters (max. 80)
  • Recommended subtitle length: 20 - 50 characters (max. 100)
  • Recommended CTA button link text length: 5 - 20 characters (max. 35)
  • There's no specific recommended length for the body text, but make sure to break up large sections by adding subsections.
