Global experts in maternal and childhood nutrition are meeting in the UK town of Windsor for a workshop about early childhood nutrition.

The Nestlé Nutrition Institute workshop will be chaired by Prof Mary Fewtrell, of University College London; Prof Susan Prescott, of the University of Western Australia and Prof Ferdinand Haschke of Salzburg’s Medical University.

The 90 or so participants attending the three-day event from 23 countries will discuss early nutrition and allergies; the fast-developing field of epigenetics, intergenerational cycles of obesity and the roles of nature and nurture in developing flavour perception in children, among other topics.
