Nestlé ranked 2nd in Financial Times’ index of top corporate websites

Nestle.com has been ranked joint second in the Financial Times-Bowen Craggs annual index of the most effective corporate website globally.

The Index ranks how the biggest companies in the world use their websites to engage with visitors and how they use other online tools, such as social media channels and software applications.

Nestlé was praised for having created a mobile-friendly site and for its commitment to transparency. The site, the FT writes, “crackles with clues that it wants to be seen as open”. Nestlé was ranked 7th in last year’s index.

Nestlé’s has had a stated ambition to leverage digital technology and online content to get closer to its consumers to better understand and cater to their preferences.
