Over 200 000 coffee farmers in 16 countries have been trained in regenerative agriculture practices, which is a holistic approach, to enhance the resilience of coffee farming. It is an integrated approach that aims to conserve and restore farmlands and their ecosystem, like biodiversity and water, to improving soil health and fertility, all while benefitting the farmer in their communities.
Among all the initiatives started by Nescafé, here are some great achievements:
- Deployed over 1 400 agronomists and field staff around the world to work with coffee farmers for a more productive and sustainable harvest
- Distributed 315 million coffee plantlets since 2010 to help farm renovation and rejuvenation
- Since 2010 we’ve enabled over 1 000 000 farmer trainings on good agricultural practices for the farmers we work with
Following Nestlé's global ambition, Nescafé also aims to use packaging materials that can be recyclable or reusable, such as jars, cartons, capsules, and sachets.

The Wall Street Crash sent the price of coffee plummeting, leaving the Brazilian government with an enormous coffee surplus. They turned to us for help preserving the harvest: could we turn the beans into a soluble coffee?

Aroma, perfected
