Nestlé ended its membership of the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI) and activities with the organization at regional and country level as of 1 January 2020.
Over the past years Nestlé has gradually reduced its activities within ILSI’s different branches. We have now decided to focus on other existing initiatives to build and share scientific knowledge in the area of food and nutrition.
Nestlé works with numerous academic institutions and research organizations, building valuable knowledge of benefit to the broader scientific community in the nutritional and food sciences. The company uses findings from its long-term studies, collaborations with leading universities, research organizations and start-ups, to create science-based solutions to address today’s nutrition challenges, and to improve our products and services.
