Open innovation! Henri@Nestlé is live

The Henri@Nestlé open innovation platform has gone live. Nestlé’s new global platform aims to increase the quality and speed of innovative solutions that respond to social and business challenges, and is open to startups worldwide.

Henri@Nestlé enables entrepreneurs to work as collaborative partners alongside dedicated Nestlé teams, to tackle projects that matter both to Nestlé and the millions of people who buy the company’s products.

Pete Blackshaw, Vice President of Digital and Social Media, Nestlé, said “Henri@Nestlé will be the company’s flagship global collaboration program and serve as a catalyst for speed, transparency and cutting red tape.”

Gerardo Mazzeo, Global Innovation Director, Nestlé, said: “With the ingenuity and innovative spirit of startups Henri@Nestlé can help address some of the world’s biggest nutrition, health and wellness challenges, creating funded opportunities to drive real impact at scale.”

The Henri@Nestlé team has posted four new projects on the platform for startups to review and offer their solutions to. Each project will be open for 45 days. After the closing date, the team will review the submissions within 30 days and shortlist up to five startups to pitch presentations.

The open innovation platform expands Nestlé’s ongoing work with startups and builds on the company’s Silicon Valley Innovation Outpost, launched in 2013.
