As part of its ongoing portfolio review, Nestlé South Africa has announced the signing of an agreement to sell its pet food/Purina business to Martin & Martin.
The divestment includes local pet food/Purina brands and Nestlé’s pet food/Purina manufacturing facility in N’dabeni with approximately 96 employees transferring to Martin & Martin.
The agreement is subject to the approval of the South African competition authorities.
