Greenpeace Break Free From Plastic report
The Greenpeace / Break Free from Plastic and A Crisis of Convenience reports on the harm that plastic food and beverage packaging waste does to seas, oceans and waterways, highlights an important environmental issue.
Nestlé is fully committed to minimizing the impact our packaging has on the natural environment. Our vision is that none of our product packaging, including plastics, should end up in landfill or as litter.
To achieve this, our ambition is that 100% of our packaging will be reusable or recyclable by 2025.
We’re working with our industry partners to explore different packaging solutions to reduce our use of plastics, facilitate recycling and develop new solutions to eliminating plastic waste.
Nestlé has also committed to helping improve recycling information on our product labelling, to help consumers dispose of packaging in the right way.
The only way to tackle the serious issue of plastic pollution properly is by working together, through collaboration and collective action, to transform how we all manage packaging.
